The filmmaker, who has been on a spree of giving back-to-back 100-crore films, has many upcoming big releases in his kitty, among which he has sold the film rights of three projects to Disney. These three films include Phantom, Tamasha and Tiger Shroff’s next, which looks like it will be Heropanti 2. The move has certainly upped the morale of the industry as 2014 hasnt really been great business wise, say trade pundits.
A source informs that Sajid was to meet with Disney on Wednesday this week, most probably to discuss the deal. When Sajid was asked about the same he said, “At this point of time we will not want to comment anything on it.”
Another source close to the production house adds, We have worked with Sajid Nadiadwala earlier, and the association has translated into success. So to take the association forward is great, isnt it?
Looking at Sajids track record, this might also be a successful merger.
